Desert Deals is designed to keep your product tracking data on your device. This policy briefly explains what the app uses and what it does not collect.

What the App Uses

When you add a product, Desert Deals stores its Amazon link, product details, price history, and target price locally on your iPhone. The app uses the product link to retrieve current pricing from the selected Amazon storefront.

We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics, such as which features are used and whether the app is opened. This helps us improve the app.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.

What We Do Not Collect

• No account, name, or email address is required.
• We do not access your location, contacts, photos, or other sensitive device data.
• We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Notifications and Deletion

• Price alerts are local notifications generated on your device.
• Delete tracked products in the app, or remove all locally stored data by uninstalling it.

Third-Party Services

Desert Deals uses Amazon to retrieve product information, PostHog for anonymous analytics, and Apple for subscriptions. Their own privacy policies apply to the information they process.
