How do I add a product to track?
Open the Amazon app, find the product you want to track, tap Share, select More, and select Desert Deals. You can also copy the product URL and paste it directly in the app using the "+" button.
Which Amazon stores are supported?
Desert Deals currently supports amazon.ae. Support for additional Amazon marketplaces may be added in the future.
How often are prices checked?
Prices are refreshed automatically in the background, typically multiple times per day. You can also manually refresh prices by pulling down on the product list. Make sure Background App Refresh is enabled for Desert Deals in your device's Settings → General → Background App Refresh.
How do price drop notifications work?
When you set a target price for a product, the app will send you a notification whenever the price drops to or below your target. Make sure notifications are enabled in your device settings.
Is my data stored on a server?
No. All your tracked products and price history are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a backend server that stores your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
How do I delete a tracked product?
Swipe left on any product in your list and tap Delete, or open the product detail view and use the delete option.
How do I restore my subscription?
Go to Settings within the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Your subscription is managed through your Apple ID and can also be managed in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
The app shows the wrong price. What should I do?
Occasionally, Amazon's page structure may change or a product may become unavailable. Try refreshing the product manually. If the issue persists, please contact us with the product URL so we can investigate.
Are prices always accurate?
Prices displayed in the app are fetched directly from Amazon and may occasionally be outdated or inaccurate due to rapid price changes, limited-time deals, or regional differences. We do everything we can to keep prices as up to date as possible, but we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy at all times.
